Drift Mania: Street Outlaws Lite is a 3D racing game where you try to score the most points or beat other racers. This game comes with several different modes and numerous cars to choose from. It has charming graphics that are a mix between realistic and arcade style.

Game Modes

Drift Mania: Street Outlaws Lite has two different game modes. Career mode has you racing the tracks and trying to get the highest score possible. You can increase your score by reaching the goal faster and successfully drifting around the tight corners. Usually career mode in other racing games has you racing against computer-controlled players, but you'll be alone in this game. It's great for learning the controls, but might get a little boring after a few times.

Battle mode pits you against another computer-controlled racer to see who can reach the finish line first. This includes three full races to see who is the best. While it's only one competitor, this should give you a challenge since the computer is aggressive and does its best to win.

Number of Tracks

This game includes three different tracks in total. You will only have access to one at the beginning, but you can unlock the other two fairly quickly. This is limited, but you have to remember that this is the Lite version of the game. Getting the full version gives you access to nine tracks.

That being said, the tracks are fun and very well designed. They look great and have many challenging turns and segments that will keep you on your toes. Whether you're trying to get the best score or beat the computer, these tracks add to the challenge.

Custom Controls

One of the best things about Drift Mania: Street Outlaws Lite is that you can customize the controls to best fit your style of play. Simply open the pause menu and you can choose between different sensitivities and ways to control your car. For example, you can choose between either a button or slider for the gas. You can also choose between an on-screen wheel for steering or relying on tilt controls.

Sliding

This might be intentional, but the cars here slide around whenever you approach a tight corner. You do have a hand brake button that helps you drift, so this choice might help with drifting and gaining even more speed. At the same time, this makes it hard to control your car. Those who don't play racing games much might be turned off by this decision.

Graphics

The graphics are good and the game is visually appealing. The cars and tracks look fairly realistic, but they have a classic arcade style as well that is very charming. It has a retro feel to it that gives the game some character.
